Birmingham City defender Bright Osayi-Samuel plays as Nigeria beat Algeria in the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations
Birmingham City full-back Bright Osayi-Samuel played a key role as Nigeria reached the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The 28-year-old started the last-eight tie against Algeria in Marrakesh as the Super Eagles won 2-0 thanks to goals from Victor Osimhen and Akor Adams.
Osayi-Samuel was substituted deep into injury time as Nigeria saw out the game and they will now face hosts Morocco in the semi-finals on Wednesday, 14 January. (20:00 GMT).
Nigeria are looking to win the tournament for the first time since 2013.
