Liverpool have got several contract issues to solve in the upcoming months - especially in midfield.
They last had a major refit in that position back in 2023 - when Wataru Endo, Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai all arrived.
Endo, 32, is contracted until 2027 - which is the same contract expiry for Liverpool’s other senior midfielder of the group in Curtis Jones.
Gravenberch, Mac Allister and Szoboszlai all inked deals until 2028 and the time is coming to extend them further. That is of course if sporting director Richard Hughes plans to keep all three in the long term.
Richard Hughes reaches Szoboszlai agreement
It may be the case that Hughes opts to listen to bids for Mac Allister, 27, who hasn’t been at his best throughout this season.

When it comes to Gravenberch and Szoboszlai however the Premier League champions would do well to get moving on signing those new deals.
Gravenberch, 23, was reported to be next in line for a new contract in order to reward the Dutchman for his top performances and see off interest from Real Madrid.
But it looks like a deal for Hungary captain Szoboszlai might be next with reports from Caught Offside revealing that an outline in principle has been reached over a new deal.
