Arman Tsarukyan continued to stay active in combat sports earlier tonight (Sat., Jan. 10, 2026) at RAF 05 LIVE on FOXNation from inside Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Fla., defeating veteran wrestler Lance Palmer via technical fall.
Saturday’s card suffered a last-second blow so it was important that the rest of the card picked of the slack. Tsarukyan, who has been doing his best to stay busy as he fights his way out of the UFC doghouse, was one of the names on the lineup that sparked some serious interest, especially because he was facing a proven adversary in Palmer.
Luckily for wrestling fans, Tsarukyan didn’t disappoint in his Real American Freestyle (RAF) debut. The No. 1-ranked UFC lightweight contender was able to find a way to finish Palmer via technical call and did it in impressive fashion. Tsarukyan put the rest of the RAF roster on notice with a dominant outing and another victory outside of the Octagon.
Maybe Tsarukyan is a better grappler than UFC lightweight star Paddy Pimblett.
