Media: Leicester City’s dream transfer window apparently involves Chelsea

Chelsea have been mentioned in a piece in the media detailing what Leicester City’s dream transfer window looks like.

We are in the January window now of course, although things have been super quiet for Chelsea so far as we expected it to be. But it’s even been quiet in terms of outgoing deals as well, when there are a few players we are expecting to leave the club in January. But so far, nothing at all has happened, not even a glimpse.

Chelsea haven’t often done deals with Leicester City, however, we have seen Ben Chilwell join The Blues from The Foxes in recent times, as well as Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall even more recent. And of course, manager Enzo Maresca went from Leicester to Chelsea a year and a half ago. His Chelsea story though, is over already, as is Chilwell’s and Dewsbury-Hall’s.

The Leicester Mercury have written an article today on Leicester’s dream transfer window for January.

They state whilst talking about needing to sign a new striker this month:

‘A player who has shown signs of knowing where the net is, then Chelsea’s Shim Mheuka may be worth a shot. The 18-year-old has scored 17 goals in 15 games for Chelsea Under-21s this season.’

Well, they might have a chance of getting him on a loan move this month, and this could be a move that would suit all parties if anything did happen there.
