Read about the players who stood out last week and let us know who you think should be the HSS North Jersey 3 Stars of the Week in the poll at the bottom of this page. Each voter can vote for up to three players.

Rhone Armijo, West Morris
The junior combined for six goals and an assist across a pair of victories, including the 50th goal of his career. Armijo had three goals in a 7-1 win over Bernards/Somerville/Middlesex on Jan. 6, followed by another hat trick on Jan. 10. Armijo earned his fourth hat trick of the season in a 5-1 win over Roxbury.
Carter Beswick, Northern Highlands
The sophomore came through with a game-winning goal in a 2-1 win over River Dell/Westwood/Emerson on Jan. 5. Beswick scored a shorthanded goal with 4:05 left in overtime to lift the Highlanders to a crucial victory. Beswick scored two more goals in a 7-5 loss to Randolph on Jan. 7.
Jared Helwani, Frisch
The senior stopped all 20 shots faced in a 4-0 win over Verona/Glen Ridge on Jan. 11. It's the third straight shutout for Helwani and the fourth of his senior season. In 35 career starts in net, Helwani has shut out an opponent in seven of those games and currently holds a career-best .959 save percentage.
Milan Kutsevich, St. Joseph (Montvale)
The sophomore is among a group of transfers making an immediate impact for the Green Knights. A transfer from Bergen Catholic, Kutsevich scored twice in his St. Joseph debut, a 6-1 win over Seton Hall Prep on Jan. 5. On Jan. 11 against Princeton Day, Kutsevich scored another goal and added two assists in a 6-1 victory.
AJ LoSauro, Ridgewood
The senior scored six goals and notched five assists across three victories this week to extend the Maroons' win streak to nine straight. LoSauro scored a goal and has an assist in a 6-3 win over West Essex/Caldwell on Jan. 5. On Jan. 9 against Ramsey/Indian Hills, LoSauro had two shorthanded goals among his seven-point game with three goals and four assists in an 8-4 win. LoSauro capped the week on Jan. 11 with two goals, including the game-winner in a 6-3 win over River Dell/Westwood/Emerson.
Shane Melly, Randolph
The senior came through in three crucial games to give the Rams its longest unbeaten streak of the season. Melly had a goal and an assist on Jan. 5 in a 3-3 tie with KJS United. On Jan. 7, Melly had a power play goal to go along with four assists in a 7-5 win over Northern Highlands. Melly ended the week with a four-goal performance on Jan. 9 in a 6-1 win over Morris Knolls/Morris Hills.
William Park, Northern Valley
The senior combined for nine points this week and set a new career high for points in a season for the Old Tappan/Demarest/New Milford tri-op. Park had five points and his third goal of the game was a power play, game-winner in a 6-5 win over Fair Lawn/Dumont/Bergenfield on Jan. 5. On Jan. 11, Park had a goal and three assists to guide the tri-op to a 5-4 win over Paramus Catholic.
Cole Riley, Montville
The senior is on the verge of eclipsing 100 points in his career following a big performance against Roxbury on Jan. 8. Riley scored a hat trick to go along with three assists in a 7-5 win over the Gaels. Riley now has 60 career goals and is five points shy of 100 for his career.
Braydon Sisco, KJS United
The junior extended his tri-op's unbeaten streak to four games with a pair of strong performances. Sisco had a goal and an assist to draw a 3-3 tie with Randolph on Jan. 5. Sisco scored twice more on Jan. 9 in a 3-1 win over Chatham to put him over 125 career points.
Angelo Spadaccini, Bergen Catholic
The junior enjoyed his most productive week of his high school career in a pair of victories for the Crusaders. Spadaccini scored twice and added an assist in a 3-1 win over Pope John on Jan. 5. Spadaccini followed that with the first six-point game of his career, scoring a goal with five assists in an 8-6 win over Brick Township/Brick Memorial on Jan. 6.
Scott Williams, Morristown
The senior made sure the Colonials remained undefeated when he scores a point this season. Williams scored twice, including the game-winning goal, in a 4-3 win over Bridgewater-Raritan on Jan. 9.
Nick Worthington, Madison
The senior has helped push the Dodgers to an 11-game win streak thanks to Worthington's work in net. Worthington has an active shutout streak of 143:27, including a pair of shut outs during the week. Worthington stopped all 48 shots in a 3-0 win over Northern Valley on Jan. 7. On Jan. 8, Worthington shut out Bernards/Somerville/Middlesex with 11 saves for his third consecutive shutout.
