Arizona Cardinals add defensive star in 2026 NFL Mock Draft

The Arizona Cardinals add a dynamic defensive prospect in new 2026 NFL Mock Draft.

We are into 2026 NFL Mock Draft season for the Arizona Cardinals now.

While we have been there for a while, as names start to trickle into declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft, we now have more information, which gives us more of a chance to make informed decisions.

So, as the names are coming in, we will add more and more Mock Drafts from the mainstream, and do some of our own as well.

We start off with a 2026 NFL Mock Draft from PFF.

From PFF:

3. Arizona Cardinals: LB Arvell Reese, Ohio State

The Cardinals also need a quarterback, but there isn’t one worth taking here with the third overall pick. Instead, Arizona selects one of the top defenders available in Reese. He’s an impressive downhill defender, as his eight sacks this year are tied for fourth among all linebackers in America, and he has an 86.5 PFF run-defense grade to boot. Reese can play either off-ball linebacker or on the ball as an edge defender for the Cardinals.

Reese is one of the best defensive players in all of college football, with a little Micah Parsons to his game.

He would help add talent to a defensive front that needs just that, talent along the front seven. I mean they need health too, but talent is important too.
