GENOA, AR (KTAL/KMSS) – On Tuesday, the Fouke and Genoa girls basketball teams participated in one of the biggest rivalry games in Southwest Arkansas.
It was neck and neck throughout the entire first half of the game, going into half the Lady Panthers led 38-32.
However, Fouke turned it on in the second half, resulting in a final score of 73-45.
Leading scorers for the Lady Panthers were Kinley Smith with 32 points, Chloe Wright-Brown with 19 points, and Olivia Morrow with 11 points. Leading Genoa in scoring was Rylee Fike with 16, Chrissie Ellis with nine, and Brooklyn Cox with eight points.
Genoa Central plays Centerpoint on Friday at home. Fouke will host Smackover.
