GENOA, AR  (KTAL/KMSS) – In a packed gym in Genoa, Arkansas, the Fouke and Genoa boys basketball teams went to head to head on Tuesday night.

Peyton Hicks kicked the game off, taking the jump ball in for a dunk within the first seconds of the game.

The game went on to be close throughout its entirety, with Genoa having just a bit of an edge. The Dragons had just a four-point lead going into half, and went on to win 55-48.

Leading scorers for Genoa were Hicks with 24, Braxton Robertson with nine points, and Austin Pell with eight points. Joshua Scoggins led the Panthers in scoring with 18, Brody Bulkley with nine points, and Cody Heflin with six points.

Genoa and Fouke both play next on Friday, January 16. The Dragons will be hosting Centerpoint and Fouke will host Smackover.
