Byron Tigers improve to 4-0 in BNC with win at Oregon

The Byron Tigers remained undefeated in the Big Northern Conference Tuesday evening by winning at Oregon 52-31.

OREGON, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — The Byron Tigers remained undefeated in the Big Northern Conference Tuesday evening by winning at Oregon 52-31.

The Tigers led by only a point 14-13 after the first quarter, but they began to separate in the second quarter outscoring the Hawks 13-4 for a 27-17 lead at halftime. I the third quarter, the Indians increased their lead to 42-27, and they never let the Hawks back in the game.

Byron had a balanced offensive attack. Caden Considine and Weston Auker scored 11 points apiece. Cason Newton scored ten. Landon Smith added eight points.

Cooper Johnson was high scorer for Oregon with nine points. Keaton Salsbury scored eight points.

Byron improves to 11-3 overall. Oregon is now 15-4 and 2-1 in the BNC. Watch the media player for highlights.
