LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – Coming off their first loss of the season, the Michigan men’s basketball team bounced back with a win out west.
The No. 4 Wolverines took down Washington, 82-72, and improved to 15-1 this season. Aday Mara led Michigan with 20 points, Morez Johnson Jr. added 16 points and a team-high 16 rebounds.
Washington led 3-2 in the opening minutes and never had the advantage after that. A 10-0 run allowed the Wolverines to build the lead in the first half and never look back.
The West Coast trip continues for Michigan on Saturday at Oregon; tip-off is set for 4 p.m.
