The goalkeeper has been brilliant this season.
Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado has become the latest player to shower Joan Garcia with praise after Thursday’s Copa del Rey win over Racing.
Garcia made a crucial late block to prevent the game from going into extra-time as Hansi Flick’s side booked their spot in the quarter-finals.
Casado said after the game that he thinks Barca’s No. 1 is the best in the world.
“What Joan Garcia has done is incredible. He wins us points in the league and today he almost won us the tie. He’s the best in the world,” he told Barca TV.
Pau Cubarsi also had a few words for the goalkeper, adding: “It’s good to have a goalkeeper like Joan who saves you.”
Garcia is certainly enjoying life right now.
He put in a stellar showing against former club Espanyol at the start of January, won the Spanish Super Cup with Barca in Saudi Arabia and has once again showed what a brilliant signing he is in the Copa del Rey.
