Bryson Shaw isn't new to this.
But it's been a while since the college football player from Ohio State and then USC has played lacrosse competitively.
He's getting back into that sport now. The Boston Cannons of the Premier Lacrosse League announced this week that Shaw will be joining them.
Shaw's athletic pursuits brought him to Division I football, beginning with three seasons at Ohio State from 2019-2021.
In 2021, Shaw finally broke through to major playing time with the Buckeyes, and he had 59 tackles and an interception.
He transferred to USC and played there form 2022-24.
He totaled 128 tackles and another interception across his three campaigns with the Trojans.
But now, Shaw is going after a lax career.
He was an All-American midfielder in high school at powerhouse The Bullis School in Maryland.

There is a lot of football and lacrosse crossover in various ways.
Maybe the most notable lacrosse sports crossover lately has been Golden State Warriors basketball player Pat Spencer, who won the Tewaaraton Trophy in college playing lacrosse at Loyola.
But this is a cool opportunity for Shaw, who will try to shake off the rust and shine on the lacrosse field once again.
