Inter Milan are facing a tense waiting game over Branimir Mlacic after an unexpected development threatened to delay, or even derail, the move.

According to Fabrizio Romano, via FCInterNews, the situation has grown increasingly complicated in recent hours.

Despite an agreement already in place between Inter Milan and Hajduk Split, Mlacic has yet to give the green light to travel to Italy for his medical and contract signing.

As a result, frustration is building inside the club.

Moreover, the dynamic has shifted further following a sudden change in representation.

Mlacic has appointed Fali Ramadani as his new agent with immediate effect. The decision adds another layer of uncertainty to a deal that Inter believed was already entering its final stages.

Because of this move, timelines have slowed again.

Inter now await clarity not only from the player, but also from his camp, with discussions reportedly involving Mlacic’s father as well.

Therefore, what once looked like a straightforward process has turned into a delicate negotiation.

Inter, however, have no intention of waiting indefinitely. The club expect a definitive response in the near future.

Otherwise, the Nerazzurri are prepared to walk away and redirect their focus elsewhere, rather than allow the situation to drag on further.
