Marysville boys basketball scores season-high 72 points in road win

Three players scored in double figures for the Vikings, who dropped a season-high 72 points in their win over Warren Mott on Friday, Jan. 16.

PORT HURON — Here are the boys high school basketball results for Friday, Jan. 16, in the Blue Water Area.

Marysville 72, Warren Mott 29

Dae'Vion Brunhuber scored 18 points for Marysville (4-7). George Pozios added 16 points while Cole Cooper had 10. The Vikings visit Center Line at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

Croswell-Lexington 72, Armada 55

Alex Levitt finished with 14 points to guide Croswell-Lexington (10-3). Max Noll contributed 12 points. The Pioneers head to Yale at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

Aaden Van Kuren scored 11 points for Armada (4-6). Luke Pretty followed with 10 points. The Tigers travel to North Branch at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

Imlay City 76, Almont 44

Isaac Sommer totaled 21 points to lead Imlay City (8-4). Jalen Gauthier added 15 points. The Spartans visit Richmond at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

Brody Corneau finished with 19 points for Almont (6-5). The Raiders head to Marine City at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 19.

New Haven 47, Port Huron 40

Ashton Cook had 12 points to lead Port Huron (4-8). Bradyn Hinton added eight points and seven rebounds. The Red Hawks visit St. Clair at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

North Branch 61, Richmond 40

Jaxon Distelrath finished with 15 points to guide Richmond (2-11). Gaige Towner scored six points. The Blue Devils welcome Imlay City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

Peck 67, Kinde North Huron 41

Thomas West posted an 18-point, 15-rebound double-double for Peck (6-5). Cody Cairo contributed 17 points while Lucas Trombley and Aidan Alfaro each had 11. The Pirates travel to Carsonville-Port Sanilac at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21.

Roseville 88, Port Huron Northern 66

Cam Harju totaled 19 points to guide Port Huron Northern (7-4). Amir Morelan amassed 18 points and six assists while Alex Jamison added 18 points and six rebounds. The Huskies host Grosse Pointe South at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

St. Clair 59, St. Clair Shores Lakeview 42

Braylon Frantz dropped a game-high 34 points for St. Clair (7-5). Evan Trudeau and Jayden Shelton both followed with eight points. The Saints welcome Port Huron at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

Yale 56, Algonac 17

Oliver Nelson finished with 16 points for Yale (13-0). Joshuaa Iles added 10 points and Tyler Debbs had nine. The Bulldogs entertain Cros-Lex at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

Algonac (2-11) visits Almont at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20.
