League One high-flyers Lincoln City have signed forward Alfie Lloyd from Queens Park Rangers on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old moves to the LNER Stadium just three days after the Championship club recalled him from his loan stay at the Imps' third-tier rivals Leyton Orient.

And his switch to Lincoln comes after the second-placed Imps lost Justin Obikwu when he was recalled himself by parent club Coventry City at the weekend to sign for QPR.

Lloyd made 12 appearances across all competitions for Orient and failed to score in his time at Brisbane Road.

His loan moves in League One this season came after he featured 31 times for Championship side QPR last term.

"Alfie fits the Lincoln City profile for a centre forward or wide player in that he is aggressive, powerful, runs in behind, works hard and presses well," Lincoln head coach Michael Skubala told the club website.
