Kurtz's RDPA will close Thursday, trails only Paul Skenes' $1.1 million patch
Bidding for Nick Kurtz’s 2025 Topps Chrome Update Rookie Debut Patch Autograph 1/1 has hit $360,000, including buyer’s premium, with more than two days remaining at auction.
Lot No. 3 in Fanatics Collect’s January Premier Auction, Kurtz’s debut patch is considered his best card and among the most significant cards created in 2025. Extended bidding for the auction begins Thursday at 9 p.m. ET.
Kurtz was the unanimous American League Rookie of the Year in 2025 after slashing .290/.383/.619 with 36 home runs and 86 RBI in 117 games.
Current bidding for Kurtz’s RDPA will make it the second-most expensive RDPA to sell at public auction, trailing only the $1.1 million paid for Paul Skenes’ RDPA at Fanatics Collect in March 2025.
Jackson Holliday’s RDPA is the current second-place holder after fetching $198,000 at Fanatics Collect in March 2025.

The current record for any Kurtz card sold at public auction, according to data tool Card Ladder, is the $86,620 paid for his 2025 Topps Chrome Rookie Autograph Superfractor 1/1 at Goldin in December.
