Chelsea receive Arda Guler update

Chelsea and Arsenal have both been informed that Real Madrid are open to selling attacking midfielder Arda Guler if a bid of around €90–100 million is submitted this summer.

Caught Offside are reporting that Real are prepared to entertain offers after the Turkish playmaker’s limited minutes under Xabi Alonso this season, prior to his dismissal.

Chelsea are evaluating whether such a move would align with their financial plans before pursuing negotiations.

Jeremy Jacquet deal “not close”

Speculation surrounding Rennes defender Jeremy Jacquet continues, though reports indicate the deal is far from complete.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that conversations have taken place between the clubs, but Rennes are holding firm on their €65 million valuation.

The French side have made it clear they are under no pressure to sell the 21-year-old, who has emerged as one of Ligue 1’s most reliable defenders.

Chelsea view Jacquet as a potential long-term addition but are expected to wait before making any formal approach.

Douglas Luiz linked with Stamford Bridge move

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea have joined the list of clubs monitoring Nottingham Forest midfielder Douglas Luiz.

The Brazilian has struggled at Forest, and his form has made him dispensable to the side, despite his Premier League experience.

While Forest might be reluctant to sell to a Premier League rival, Chelsea’s intent to strengthen their midfield could see them revisit the situation later in the year.

Chelsea facing Manchester United competition for Felix Nmecha

Felix Nmecha’s future is also drawing attention, with Chelsea and Manchester United reportedly in the race for the Borussia Dortmund midfielder.

Sky Sports Germany claims both Premier League clubs have sent scouts to track the 25-year-old, who has impressed with his composure and work rate in the Bundesliga.

Nmecha’s ability to operate both centrally and in advanced midfield positions has made him a versatile option for clubs looking to add technical quality.

Dortmund are hoping to extend Nmecha’s contract, setting up what could become one of the more competitive midfield chases in the Premier League.
