Former Georgia Bulldogs offensive lineman Griffin Scroggs will be joining former Florida Gators head coach Dan Mullen after latest transfer decision
Former Georgia Bulldogs offensive lineman Griffin Scroggs in on the move again. Scroggs has transferred to the UNLV Rebels for his final year of college football. Scroggs originally signed with Georgia as a three-star recruit out of Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia, in the class of 2022.
Scroggs has committed to playing for his third college football program after spending the past three seasons at Appalachian State. Scroggs started five games at offensive guard for App State in 2024 and appeared in 10 total contests. In 2025, the former three-star recruit appeared in all 12 games for App State. Scroggs transferred to App State in the spring of 2023.
At UNLV, Scroggs will play under former Florida Gators head coach Dan Mullen. In Mullen's first year at UNLV, he helped the Rebels go 10-4. UNLV lost to Boise State in the Mountain West championship and also lost in the Frisco Bowl.
247Sports ranks Scroggs as a three-star transfer. The former App State lineman is the No. 1,264 player in the portal and the No. 104 interior offensive lineman.
The 6-foot-3, 330-pound offensive guard is one of 13 incoming transfers at UNLV. The Rebels have the No. 84 incoming transfer class in the nation.
