The Illini will come into a snowy Mackey Arena.
Purdue men’s basketball is coming off of their second loss of the year, and first in the Big Ten, as Illinois comes to town. Just like Purdue, Illinois has just one loss so far in Big Ten play and are part of the logjam at the top of the standings. This is a game where Purdue has a chance to reassert their dominance. Illinois will be without guard Kylan Boswell who suffered a hand injury in practice. Illinois announced just four days ago that he would be out for approximately a month. Purdue has had some good luck with opponents being short handed of late, but UCLA was still able to come away with a win despite being without one of their contributors. Let’s hope that Illinois isn’t as fortunate.
