Manchester City welcomed Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Etihad Stadium earlier today as they looked to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Mancunian outfit made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the sixth minute thanks to Omar Marmoush’s effort. Antoine Semenyo doubled his team’s advantage in the latter stages of the first half as Pep Guardiola’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.
Man City controlled the game well in the second half and secured a solid 2-0 win at the Etihad.

O’Reilly was a positive influence at both ends of the field.
CDM: Rodri – 7/10
He anchored the midfield with conviction and made one good chance in the final third.
RW: Antoine Semenyo – 8/10
Semenyo was a real threat in the final third and did well to score in the dying embers of the first half.
CM: Tijjani Reijnders – 6.5/10
He was full of energy and running at the centre of the park and was replaced at the hour mark.
CM: Bernardo Silva – 7.5/10
Silva made two decent chances in the final third and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

Cherki caught the eye at times and was substituted in the 72nd minute.
