Signed just two weeks ago from Bournemouth, Antoine Semenyo wasted no time making his mark in his new colours.
The Ghanaian international netted his first Premier League goal for Manchester City during their 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton on Saturday at the Etihad Stadium. The Citizens took an early lead through Omar Marmoush, who found the net in the 6th minute after a cross from Matheus Nunes. Starting in place of the absent Erling Haaland, the Egyptian striker seized his opportunity brilliantly.
Just before the break, Semenyo showed nerves of steel. Set up by Bernardo Silva, he controlled the ball before unleashing a powerful low drive beyond José Sá, sealing City’s victory.
