The future of Marc Casado has become a hot topic at Barcelona lately, especially after the midfielder started to fall behind even Eric Garcia in the pecking order.
Earlier this week, the youngster was linked with a move to Galatasaray, who were keen on acquiring the services of the Barcelona midfielder.
Casado was also linked with a move to Atletico Madrid, but it appears Barcelona are not interested in offloading the player in January.
Marc Casado rejects Galatasaray move
Now, a recent report from Ekrem Konur suggests Casado himself has turned down a move to Galatasaray.
It appears the youngster is not interested in the prospect of moving to Turkey and starting a new chapter in his career.
Instead, Casado wants to remain at Barcelona and fight for his place in the starting eleven. This is despite the fact that the Spaniard is no longer Hansi Flick’s first-choice option in midfield.

The midfielder has fallen behind not only Frenkie de Jong but also Eric Garcia in the pecking order. Although Pedri’s recent injury could bring him back into focus, the former will return in a month.
Keeping that in mind, Barcelona are not expected to stand in the way of Casado, should he decide to leave the club in the summer transfer window.
Casado, though, will be mindful of the fact that Flick is always open to giving opportunities to players who perform rather than having a set formula. It is a reason why he lost his place to de Jong in the first-place.
But de Jong is not longer the untouchable he was last season, while Garcia has also moved back to a centre-back role in recent matches.
With Pedri also injured, the coming matches could prove pivotal for Casado as he looks to prove himself.
