Orange up to 10 commits for 2027
While we all wonder what the 2026 Syracuse Orange football team will look like, recruiting never stops and Fran Brown added two more 2027 commitments over the weekend.
First was Erie, PA offensive lineman Edwin Guzman, who is listed at 6’8” and 310 pounds. Guzman isn’t ranked currently but certainly fits the size profile that Brown wants at the offensive tackle position.
The second commitment was running back Sa’Nir Brooks who is also from Pennsylvania, but attends St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland. Brooks is rated three-stars by 247 and On3. He’s ranked as the 34th best running back in the class by the 247 composite and had offers from Pitt, Rutgers, Michigan State, and Maryland among others.
Syracuse is now up to 10 commitments in the 2027 class.
