Dro Fernandez completes move from Barcelona to PSG

The deal is now complete.

Barcelona have confirmed that Dro Fernandez has completed his January transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.

The midfielder has chosen to leave the club in search of more regular game time and has now put pen to paper on a contract with Luis Enrique’s side.

Barcelona confirmed the news in a brief statement:

“FC Barcelona and PSG have reached an agreement for the transfer of Pedro Fernández, known as Dro, to the Parisian club. The Club wishes him the best of luck in the future, both personally and professionally.

“The Galician player concludes a three-and-a-half-season spell with Barça. He arrived in the summer of 2022 from Valmiñor as a youth player, and this season he made a total of five appearances for the first team and three for Barça Atlètic.”

There’s no mention of a fee but it’s thought that PSG have paid €8.2 million to sign Fernandez on a contract until 2023.
