Alpharetta (Ga.) announces hiring of Daniel Carlisle as HFC

Alpharetta (Ga.) announced on Tuesday afternoon via X, formerly known as Twitter, who their next head football coach would be officially.

The Raiders made it official that they are hiring Daniel Carlisle as the program’s next head football coach. Carlisle has experienced coaching at schools like nationally ranked Grayson (Ga.), Chattahoochee (Ga.) and Cooper City (Fla.), respectively.

“We are excited to announce the hiring of Danny Carlisle as the next Head Football Coach at Alpharetta High School,” Alpharetta athletic director Alejandro Romero said in the statement. “Coach Carlisle brings extensive experience in program development, defensive leadership, and community engagement, having coached at high-performing programs across Georgia and Florida. Throughout his career, he has helped build competitive programs while developing student-athletes and fostering cultures centered on accountability, discipline, and academic excellence.”

The Raiders missed out on the playoffs, finishing well below the .500 mark last season but Carlisle should have some pieces to work with as the team features 2027 three-star EDGE Jaxon Holly.

Alpharetta ended the 2025 season with a 2-8 record as the state’s No. 172 ranked team, according to the final Georgia 2025 High School Football Massey Rankings.
