Unique Curt Cignetti worn item from Indiana’s national title up for auction

Curt Cignetti and his Indiana Hoosiers sure made some spectacular college football history with the national championship they won after their victory over the Miami Hurricanes in the CFP title game a week ago.

Incredibly, fans can even go ahead with trying to own a piece of that history from Indiana’s national championship run.

To be exact, the actual headset which Cignetti wore on the sidelines, during the Hoosiers’ title winning victory over Miami, is up for auction and whichever fan ends up making the highest bid for it will be able to call the headset theirs.

Bids for Cignetti’s headset can be placed on bisondrop.com. Coming away with this piece of college football memorabilia won’t come cheap though.

Overall, the bid for this particular item from Cignetti’s gameday coaching attire stands at $11,510 at the time of writing, and there are still 12 days left for people to put down a bid and increase the price.

Whether or not it would actually be worth it or wise to spend that kind of money on a football coach’s headset is another matter altogether.

However, if there ever was a game worn headset that I would even contemplate paying a large sum of money for, it would probably be the one that was used by Cignetti.
