ROCKTON, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — It wasn’t always pretty, but the Hononegah Indians got a much-needed NIC-10 win Wednesday night 53-47 against Rockford East.
The victory keeps Hononegah in the thick of the NIC-10 championship race with Guilford and Auburn which both won Wednesday night as well. Hononegah’s conference record is 9-2 while Guilford is 10-1 and Auburn is 10-2.
Oba Fasalojo led Hononegah with 17 points. Caleb Hart was right behind with 16 points. Brian Harper Jr. was East’s top scorer with 21 points.
