ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — 24 hours after defeating Rockford East, the Auburn Knights were back in the castle picking up another NIC-10 win 57-38 against Belvidere North Wednesday night.
Nathan Alexander tried his hardest to lift North to an upset by scoring 21 of North’s 38 points, but the Knights balance was too much. Mikwan Marshall led Auburn in scoring with 13 points. Darian Royal and Kaiden Dozie each scored 10 points. Amir Danforth scored nine points.
Auburn improves its record to 16-7, 10-2. North’s record is 13-10, 5-6. Watch the media player for highlights.
