SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — No. 16 Augustana hockey’s six-game winning streak ended with a 4-1 loss at Minnesota State over the weekend.
The Vikings will look to return to the win column as they host Lake Superior State for a weekend series. Augustana split a road series with the Lakers in November, losing 2-1 on Friday before earning a 2-1 win Saturday.
The Vikings lead the CCHA in home winning percentage and are 11-1-3 at home with four home games remaining in the regular season.
“It’s outside the glass,” head coach Garrett Raboin said. “Everyone’s had a hand in that. I think our guys draw from the energy. They like being at home. They like celebrating with the home crowd. The student section — we can’t wait to get here, hopefully soon.”
Augustana and Lake Superior State face off Friday at 7:07 p.m.
