Inter coach Cristian Chivu has warned that Bodo/Glimt can trouble top sides after the Champions League draw paired Inter with the Norwegian champions.
The reaction came through the club’s official channels, via FCInterNews, shortly after the ceremony in Nyon.
The Nerazzurri learned they will face the Scandinavian side in the play-off round, a tie that on paper may look favourable but carries hidden dangers.
Chivu made it clear he expects a difficult challenge over the two legs.
“All Champions League matches hide pitfalls and difficulties,” the Inter head coach said.
“Bodo/Glimt are a team that, in this first phase, showed they can put big clubs in trouble both at home and away.”

Bodo/Glimt have built a reputation in recent seasons for fearless performances against more established European names.
Their organisation, intensity and confidence on the ball have allowed them to compete well beyond expectations.
Furthermore, a trip to a tricky stadium with an artificial turf awaits Inter.
Indeed, another place where other big teams tend to slip up.
For Inter, preparation will be key.
The tie arrives in the middle of a demanding schedule.
Therefore, the coaching staff must balance domestic commitments with the added European hurdle.
Chivu’s message underlines the mindset inside the dressing room.
There is no sense of underestimation, only respect for an opponent that has already proved its quality on the continental stage.
