According to El Nacional, the Arsenal target has made it clear he could seek a move away if Alvaro Arbeloa continues beyond this season.

Arsenal are reported to be tracking multiple Ivory Coast wingers as part of their long-term recruitment planning.

Mikel Arteta gives update on potential January signings

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was asked about the final days of the January transfer window and whether Manchester City’s activity impacts Arsenal’s thinking.

Speaking via Sky Sports, Arteta said, “Not because of them but because of any issues we need to be on top of. It’s not a surprise because City did it last year. They were very aggressive when it was needed.”

He added, “We have our ambitions, but we have our restrictions, and we have to do what we can do and what we believe is the right thing to do.”
