PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past month in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.
The P/PTSD Perspective: January 31st, 2026
1) Former Vikings QB Kellen Mond Reveals New Mike Zimmer Details: In the end, Coach Zimmer was correct about Kellen Mond’s ability (or lack thereof). That being said, the head coach could have handled the situation better. The Spielman/Zimmer dynamic at the end was a kingdom divided against itself.
2) Former Vikings QB Emerging as Eagles OC Candidate: Being a backup passer means spending ample time studying. Indeed, that’s one of the central facets of the job description: decode what the defense is doing. No surprise that the journeyman depth passer is getting a look as a coach.
3) The Vikings GM Tipped His Hand on QB2 Decision: Whoever gets added needs to be low maintenance, essentially ruling out Aaron Rodgers unless something very odd occurs. So, too, does there need to be an ability to play for a small amount alongside an ability to not make a ruckus if the final assignment is to be the QB2.
4) The Browns Pulled the Pin on the Grenade, So the Vikings Should Pickup the Phone: The Browns are a terrible organization. Maybe Minnesota should see about prying away a strong defensive mind. After all, there’s no salary cap for a coaching staff.
5) Ex-Vikings Coach Turns Down Shot at NFL History: The boy wonder turned down the Browns. Wouldn’t you? Cleveland is a mess of a franchise. Rallying around Baker Mayfield and Kevin Stefanski would have been far better than what has taken place over these past few seasons.
Enjoy the extra reading, Vikings fans.
