Roma are set to finalize the arrival of Bryan Zaragoza as they secure a late reinforcement for Gian Piero Gasperini’s attacking department.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Giallorossi have reached a full agreement to bring the Spanish winger to the capital. The operation is structured as a loan with an option to buy set at €13m. To facilitate the move, Celta Vigo will terminate their existing loan agreement with Bayern Munich. As part of this complex financial arrangement, Roma will pay a compensation fee to the player to cover the early termination of the contract.
Zaragoza has been pushing hard for the transfer and was notably left out of the squad for Celta’s clash against Getafe. Having already said yes to the move, the 24-year-old is now ready to fly to Italy to undergo medical tests and sign his new contract.
The arrival of the attacker provides Roma with a dynamic option on the flanks, fulfilling Gasperini’s request for more quality in the final third before the window shuts.
