Wrexham could yet be active in the January transfer window as they bid to continue their push to secure a top-six spot in the Championship this season.
Phil Parkinson says Wrexham could yet add to their squad in the final stages of the January transfer window as they remain in the hunt to earn a play-off place in the Championship.
Paul Mullin, Conor Coady and Andy Cannon have all left the Red Dragons on loan this month while James McClean and Jake Bickerstaff secured permanent moves to Derry City and Cheltenham Town respectively.
Having made 13 signings in the summer transfer window, the winter market was always destined to feature more outgoings than incomings.
But when asked if he could bolster his ranks in the final stages of the window, Parkinson said: "Yeah, possibly. We're working on things."
Wrexham have been touted with moves for a number of different frontmen over recent weeks while Bristol City defender Zak Vyner is among those to be linked with a switch to north Wales.
"We've been able to move players out to create the space because we're still close to that 25-man [squad] threshold," added Parkinson.
"I'm pleased with the group and nobody's coming in to replace anybody, it'll just be to enhance the squad for what we need for this last one third of the season."
There could yet be further exits, with Ryan Hardie attracting interest from League One Bolton Wanderers.
The striker has started just twice in the Championship since joining from Plymouth Argyle last summer, with his only goal for the club coming against Preston North End in the Carabao Cup.
But Parkinson says the Scottish forward - who is continuing to recover from a knee injury - will only be allowed to leave Stok Cae Ras in the winter window if the club can bring in another forward.
"Ryan's not going anywhere unless we bring one in. I've told him that," explained the Wrexham manager.
"Ryan's a good player - he's a couple of weeks off being fit anyway.
"He is a player who has scored goals at this level and he's been a bit unlucky with the limited opportunities, but he's got a part to play.
"You never know in the next couple of days, but we've got to make sure our squad is strong and we've got options off the bench to change games if we need it."
Midfielder Elliot Lee is expected to leave the club before Monday's 19:00 GMT transfer deadline.
