Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany vowed that his team will show a reaction following a 2-2 with lowly SV Hamburg on Saturday.
This was a second consecutive Bundesliga setback for leaders Bayern after they suffered their first league loss of the season to Augsburg last weekend.
"In the end, this was a draw and not a defeat. Now, we're going to do what we always do. We’ll show a reaction on the pitch," Kompany said.
"It wasn't a good performance of ours, but it was a good Bundesliga game because both teams showed great intensity. My guys fought well today and I wont let anyone take that away from us," he added.
Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer said that "this draw feels more like a defeat to us. However, I think it's a good sign that nobody is satisfied.
"These are the games in which very fine margins make the difference. Today was about fighting. And we certainly showed great fighting spirit today."
Striker Harry Kane pointed out that the team "just experienced an extremely intense month with many games." Since the season resumed on January 11, Bayern didn't have a full week of rest.
But they will finally have a week between games to recover as their next match is the Bundesliga clash against third-placed Hoffenheim next Sunday.
Bayern top the Bundesliga standings nine points ahead of Borussia Dortmund, who host bottom side Heidenheim on Sunday.
