OGC Nice: Galatasaray's offer for Hicham Boudaoui

The Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray has submitted a last-minute offer for the young Algerian international, Hicham Boudaoui.

After a standout performance at AFCON 2025 with Algeria, Hicham Boudaoui has become the target of a major move in the final hours of the winter transfer window. According to Foot Mercato, OGC Nice received an official bid from Galatasaray this morning. The proposal is a paid loan with a purchase option set at around 15 million euros.

Negotiations are currently underway between the two clubs as they try to reach common ground. Galatasaray is determined to sign a creative midfielder before their transfer window closes and time is running out.

But for Le Gym, it’s a tough equation. On the sporting front, losing Hicham Boudaoui would be a major blow, given how he’s become the heartbeat of their midfield. Contractually, however, the player is tied to the club until 2027. With 18 months left on his deal and considering the club’s precarious sporting situation, a total offer of €15 million represents a financial opportunity that’s hard to turn down.
