Barça officially confirmed the signing of young Egyptian talent Hamza Abdelkarim this Sunday.
FC Barcelona have announced the arrival of Hamza Abdelkarim. The Catalan club revealed they have reached an agreement with Al-Ahly for the loan of the 18-year-old until June 30, 2026, with a purchase option set at 3 million euros. Abdelkarim becomes the first Egyptian player in history to join Barça and will initially play for Barça Atlètic, the club’s reserve side.
It should be noted that before leaving, Hamza Abdelkarim extended his contract with Al-Ahly until 2028.
