With the Clash pushed until Wednesday, the likes of Chase Briscoe, Ryan Preece, and Chris Buescher all took their off Saturday, stuck in an unexpected 10" of North Carolina snowfall as an opportunity to push their trucks and promote their sponsors.
With The Cookout Clash at Bowman Gray now further postponed to Wednesday, let's look at all the ways that the NASCAR Cup driver starved off boredom while snowed-in on Saturday in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Charlotte was hit with a total of 10" of snow over the all-day snowstorm that postponed the Winston-Salem area race due to the safety of those driving from one metropolitan to another in the historic snowfall. The drivers, partially bumbed about the continued pushback of their preseason open exhibition race, took to their trucks and social media to have some fun.

The RFK Racing drivers followed suit, with Ryan Preece stating that the summer tires on his F-150 would not be up to the task, and his teammate Chris Buescher judging his choice not to have a lifted truck.

Carson Hocevar, Spire driver and collector of street-legal former race cars and trucks, suggested on X that everyone could get together to race their street trucks while waiting for the snow to pass.
"[W]e could all just race our street trucks in the snow instead of waiting out the snow," Hocevar wrote.
Another moment of note for a driver, Penske's Ryan Blaney, placing beers out in the snow to chill, forgetting about them, and losing them in the snow. He has reluctantly accepted that he'll find them in a few days, maybe after he returns home from Bowman Gray.
