You know, in a building that was electric and very loud just to have the the awareness and then to hear the the calls. We’ve we’ve made huge strides there. And then we’re we’re competing on every play. We’re in better shape than we were the first time. But, yeah, we’re we’re getting better there.

On the women’s side, Illinois State hosted their annual Play for Kay game as they took on archrival Bradley.
The contest was a defensive rock fight with the Redbirds coming back late in regulation to force overtime. Illinois State came out on top 58-54.
“We’re undefeated at home, it’s Bradley for crying out loud, so it’s that rivalry. It’s play for Kay, we’re playing with so much emotion, but I don’t know. We have great fans, and we talk about it after every game that we wanna play really hard for them. We’ve worked hard to get this program to be worth something they’re super excited about, and I want them to be really proud of us.”
