Portland trades Duop Reath, picks to Atlanta Hawks for Vit Krejci

The Portland Trail Blazers have acquired forward Vit Krejci from the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for center Duop Reath and two future second-round draft picks, the team announced Sunday. The Portland Trail Blazers have acquired forward Vit Krejci from the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for center Duop Reath and two future second-round draft picks, the team announced Sunday.

According to Trail Blazers general manager Joe Cronin, Portland sent Reath, a 2027 second-round pick via Atlanta and a 2030 second-round pick via New York to the Hawks as part of the deal.

Krejci, who is from the Czech Republic, is in his fifth NBA season. He is averaging 9.0 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 22.3 minutes per game over 46 games this season, including eight starts, with Atlanta. The Trail Blazers said Krejci is shooting 46.4% from the field and 42.3% from 3-point range.

The team said Krejci is averaging 2.2 made 3-pointers per game this season, and his 42.3% shooting from beyond the arc ranks among the top 20 in the NBA. He has also shot better than 40% from 3-point range in each of the past two seasons.

The Trail Blazers announced Krejci will wear No. 27 with Portland.
