Barcelona players and staff have been at Mundo Deportivo’s Grand Gala on Monday night where the club’s achievements have been celebrated.

Hansi Flick was in attendance and spoke about his future at the club. The Barcelona boss is under contract until 2027 but hinted that he could indeed stay longer at the Camp Nou.

“When I see all these images with all these successes, it’s crazy, it’s impressive. It’s a pleasure to work here, we have a fantastic president, staff, players, and fans, and this is a phenomenal moment,” he said.

“I’m very happy here and I want to be here for many years. It was a dream for me to coach Barça.”

There’s been speculation already that Barcelona want to extend his contract, something Flick batted away previously when asked.

The Barcelona boss has also hinted he’ll wait until after the elections to decide on his future, but it certainly sounds as if he’s happy to stay on for a little while longer yet.
