Canucks' Filip Chytil Exits Game Against Mammoth

Six games after returning to the lineup, Canucks centre Filip Chytil has left Vancouver's game against the Utah Mammoth.

The Vancouver Canucks' latest absence from their lineup is none-other than Filip Chytil, who left tonight's game against the Utah Mammoth after the first two periods. This was Chytil's sixth game back from an injury that took him out of Vancouver's lineup on October 19.

Chytil's reason for absence is currently unknown, as the forward did not come out for the third period and was later declared out for the remainder of the game via the Canucks' X account

Not much needs to be said about Chytil's injury history, as the forward has played in a total of 27 games for the Canucks since being acquired as part of the J.T. Miller trade last January. Chytil's last point came on October 16 against the Dallas Stars.

If he is injured, Chytil will join a Canucks injury list that includes the likes of Brock Boeser, Zeev Buium, Marco Rossi, and Nils Höglander. All four of these players are not expected to rejoin the team until after the Olympic break, as Vancouver plays in only one more game before the break after tonight's.
