PECATONICA, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — Defense ruled Monday night at Pecatonica in a game between two teams destined for 20-win seasons. Pecatonica edge Rockford Christian 39-38.
Ava Ackerman scored 12 points and Ryleigh Alexander scored 11 for Pecatonica.
Pecatonica’s record improved to 19-8 overall. Pecatonica also leads the NUIC North with an 8-0 mark. Rockford Christian’s record is now 19-10.
