F.C. Hansa Rostock have confirmed the transfer of striker Ryan Naderi to Rangers, marking the biggest transfer in the club’s history and setting a new record in Germany’s 3. Liga.
Sky Germany reported on Monday that Rangers are paying an initial transfer fee of €5.5 million for the 22-year-old, which could potentially rise to €6 million. As part of the deal, Rostock also secured a 20 percent sell-on clause.
“The offer from Rangers reached a level that a third-division club cannot refuse,” said Hansa Rostock board chairman Ronald Maul.
“While financial considerations are important, our focus has always been on the player. Ryan is young, talented, and has a bright future ahead. He now has the opportunity to play internationally and prove himself on a big stage, and we could not deny him that chance. We are fully confident in the strength of our squad.”
Naderi joined Hansa Rostock from Borussia Mönchengladbach in the summer of 2024 and scored 13 goals in 45 appearances for the club.
