The UCF Knights have won four of six all-time meetings against Florida International, including a 61-17 victory to kick off the 2017 season.
ORLANDO — UCF will have two home games in the 2030 football season against in-state rivals.
The Knights will renew acquaintances with Florida International as part of its three-game, non-conference slate, the school announced Tuesday, Feb. 3. UCF already booked a home game against Florida for 2030 as well, part of a two-for-one series with the Gators that began in 2024.
The move aligns with UCF vice president and director of athletics Terry Mohajir's scheduling philosophy, seeking one non-conference game per season against one team from the Power Four, one from the Group of Six and one from the Football Championship Subdivision.
UCF and FIU met six times between 2011-17, with the Knights prevailing in four of those games. They cruised to a 61-17 win in the most recent matchup, the first of UCF's 13 victories in its historic undefeated season.
The Knights begin a home-and-home series with Pittsburgh in September, wrap one up with North Carolina next year and have two future meetings planned with Northwestern, starting in 2028.
