HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The University of Evansville Softball Team is showing off its brand-new facility.
It’s a new clubhouse designed to bring the Purple Aces together on and off the field. There’s a new coach’s suite, player’s lounge and nutrition area.
Program leaders say it’s a safe space for players to hang out. Officials say this is just phase one, and next up is a new locker room with new bathrooms and more space for gear.
Officials say construction is set to start in June and wrap up by the fall.
