The Portsmouth High School boys alpine ski team won a seven-team meet at Gunstock on Thursday.
GILFORD - The Portsmouth High School boys alpine ski team placed four in the top and won a nine-team slalom race on Thursday, Feb. 5 at Gunstock Ski Resort.
Portsmouth's Will DeDeus placed second overall in a combined run time of 55.14 seconds.
Portsmouth won with a team score of 384, while Windham (364) and Bedford (358) placed second and third, respectively.
Portsmouth's Ryan Ervin placed fourth (55.76), Charlie Ruedig placed fifth (55.84) and Henry Hyland was ninth (58.12).
In the girls race, Portsmouth tied for second with Dover with 348 points, trailing Bedford (369).
Portsmouth's Ellie Patrick was second overall with a combined time of 59.00. Teammates Charlotte Hyland was 15th (1:07.96), Libby Ouimette was 16th (1:07.98) and Bella Spechuilli was 27th (1:21.59).
Dover's Declyn Mangum was seventh (1:03.31), Haley Marden was ninth (1:05.56), Erin DelloRusso was 12th (1:07.21) and Avery Bekkla was 33rd (1:37.93).

WINDHAM - Kyran Jeanpierre had 21 points and Noah O'Brien added 19 for Spaulding (2-11) in this Division I win.
