Giannis Antetokounmpo confirmed in an X post that he has joined the ownership group of Chelsea FC Women.
In announcing the investment with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, Antetokounmpo pointed to the club’s history and culture.
He said, “I’m proud and honored to partner with my friend Alexis Ohanian, joining the ownership group of Chelsea FC Women, a historic club built on passion, excellence, and a winning culture.”
The move sees Antetokounmpo align with Alexis Ohanian, who already holds a minority stake in Chelsea Women.
