Everton U18s have progressed to the 5th Round of the FA Youth Cup and will play Ipswich Town at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Thursday, 12 February, kicking off at 7 pm GMT.

The previous ties for the Young Blues in this competition have seen them beat Millwall 3-2 at The Den, before overcoming West Ham United on penalties at Goodison Park.

Tickets for the Ipswich tie are now on general sale, priced at £5 for Adults and £3 for Juniors (U18). The East Lower stand will be open for this fixture.

Due to competition rules, Season Ticket Members, Premium Members, Forever Blue+ and Forever Blue Members will also have to pay to attend.

Tickets can be purchased online, over the phone by calling 0151 556 1878, or in person at the South Stand Ticket Office at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

I was wondering if the kids would get the chance to play on the big pitch.

It used to be a rule of the competition that all home ties in the FA Youth Cup had to be played at the main stadium, but they seem to have relaxed that this season.

They are unlikely to get a big crowd, but they have been getting a few good results and it would be nice if their luck held out to get them into the 6th Round.

With Olayiwola, Graham, Loney, and a few others, I think there's some talent in this side.

100% agree Dave, and they’d get a much bigger attendance, cannot motivate myself to go to GP for a women’s fixture, but the youth cup would definitely be worthwhile, especially when it gets to semi final stage, been in crowds of +20,000 for youth cup semis.
