The trio are coming back soon.
Barcelona were without Frenkie de Jong and Raphinha against Real Mallorca on Saturday, with the duo forced to watch from the sidelines along with other injured stars including Pedri and Gavi.
Hansi Flick confirmed that De Jong missed out as he “wasn’t 100%,” while Raphinha wasn’t even in the squad due to an overload that’s ensured he’s missed Barcelona’s last two games.
According to AS, De Jong has a very minor groin strain that isn’t serious and should mean he’s available to start next time out against Atletico in the Copa del Rey semi-finals.
As for Raphinha, he did not take part in Sunday’s recovery session with the team but was once again following his own training program.
The expectation is that he will be back in training early next week and should also be available to Flick for the game against Diego Simeone’s side.
Pedri, meanwhile, will take a little longer. The current thinking is that he won’t be ready for Atletico or Girona but could return against Levante on February 22nd.
